The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A low kick from Abdalla is predictable there
and Drake cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

It looks like Rayle Amot Abdalla has been cut.
Drake throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Abdalla.
Drake checks a leg kick nicely.

Drake darts in and clinches Abdalla up against the cage.
Abdalla is looking to control Drake's arms but Drake gets an underhook and turns him. Now Abdalla has his back to the cage.
Abdalla takes a shot to the head.
Drake lands with a light punch inside.
Drake lands a damaging elbow.
Drake lands with a right to the head.
Drake works for underhooks and lands a body shot in the process.
A short uppercut from Drake.
Still in the clinch, Drake scores with a nice short uppercut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Drake lands an elbow inside.
A nice right hand lands inside from Drake.

That has opened up Rayle Amot Abdalla's cut even more.
Drake lands a right hand.

Abdalla is pressed against the cage. Drake pushes back and unleashes a big elbow that really hurts Abdalla! Two more big strikes from Drake and Abdalla crumples to the mat and taps out furiously due to the strikes!
