Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Jim Hogan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and David Oban (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). David Oban has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Jim Hogan! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, David Oban! The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, James Ackerman and Colin Fotheringham.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hogan moves into the clinch. Hogan has Oban pressed against the cage.
Oban has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate. Oban tries to stall but Hogan uses the opportunity to gain a better position.
The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows. Hogan goes for a takedown in the clinch but Oban prevents it.
Oban gets control of Hogan's arms and successfully pulls guard. Oban will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Oban looking for a sweep. Not yet Oban, not yet. Hogan working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Oban is trying to keep Hogan in close.
That's one minute gone in the round. Oban is pulling down on Hogan's head to control his posture. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Hogan really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Oban wants to sweep here but Hogan controlling him for the moment. Oban is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace. Hogan tries to stand but Oban is controlling from the bottom.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Oban fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Hogan sprawls well initially but Oban persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Hogan is looking to improve his position.
Hogan is looking to control Oban's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Hogan avoid being mounted? Hogan looking for submissions off his back. Hogan wants to get back to full guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Hogan is pressing down on Oban's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. Oban wants to control from the top but Hogan keeps moving. Hogan looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Oban is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Hogan has taken the fight to the clinch.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Hogan has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Oban after a bit of a struggle. Oban lands a nice trip takedown into half guard.
Oban trying to control the action but Hogan is working from the bottom. Still in half guard, Oban seems content to control. Oban wants to free his trapped foot but Hogan is holding on for dear life with his legs. Hogan is looking to improve his position.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Oban wants to stand up but Hogan manages to regain full guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
David Oban dominated that round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Oban tries to clinch but Hogan is having none of it. Oban tries to clinch there but Hogan circles away.
Hogan tries to counter by clinching up but Oban breaks away and moves out of range. Oban closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Hogan quickly recovers to half guard. Hogan moves into full guard.
Hogan wants to sweep but no luck. Hogan is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Oban defends well. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Oban is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Oban trying to control but Hogan is working from the bottom. Hogan is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. Hogan wants to hit a switch here but Oban passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Hogan there! Oban has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Hogan is desperately trying to improve his position but Oban has a good base and remains in mount.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Oban controlling his opponent. Oban landing punches.
Hogan is rocked! Oban looking to control and managing it successfully. Oh Hogan is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Oban looking to isolate an arm here. Hogan doesn't see it coming and as Oban extends the arm, he's forced to tap out! Nice submission by Oban!
