Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Brubaker lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Shaughnessy has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Shaughnessy and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
It seemed like Shaughnessy was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.

After the fight, JB Brubaker was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
