The judges for this bout are Bruno Lombardi, Franklyn Lucas and Jonathan Paton.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No joy there for Bolton, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Bolton misses with a jab, cross combination.
Hogan looks to score with a jab to the body but Bolton is just out of range.
Hogan uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Bolton.
Bolton circles away from the clinch attempt.

Hogan is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Bolton.

A telegraphed right hand from Hogan misses the target.
Bolton dips to his left and cracks Hogan with an uppercut!

Bolton wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Bolton is looking to control Hogan's arms but Hogan gets an underhook and turns him. Now Bolton has his back to the cage.
Hogan pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Bolton is breathing heavily.
Horrible takedown by Hogan or perhaps it was just good defense by Bolton which made him look bad.

Hogan shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Bolton as he jumps to the side.

Hogan throws a hook to the side of Bolton's head but Bolton sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

and Bolton takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Bolton throws a nice looking combination but Hogan bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Hogan steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Bolton.
Hogan buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Bolton doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.

Hogan slips nicely into half guard.
Hogan is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount!
Hogan trying to control but he's not successful this time.

Hogan manages to capitalize on a mistake by Bolton to take his back!
Hogan tries to keep control of the position but Bolton is staying busy.
Bolton defends a rear naked choke attempt by controlling one of Hogan's arms.
Well, with Hogan on his back, surely it's only a matter of time before Bolton is tapping out... Can he escape the position?
Hogan is looking to control Bolton but Bolton is wriggling around and keeping busy.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Bolton rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Hogan moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Bolton misses with a series of wild punches.
Bolton scores with a sloppy right hand. Hogan should have avoided that one.
Bolton throws a shot from downtown. Hogan moves away and avoids it.
Bolton lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Bolton.
It looks like Josh Hogan has been cut.
Roose Bolton is winning the standup battle so far.
Hogan swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Bolton throws a body punch but Hogan moves out of range.
Hogan shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Bolton but Bolton pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Hogan jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Roose Bolton seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Bolton throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Hogan decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Bolton's guard.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Hogan wants to control from the top but Bolton keeps moving.
Hogan is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Bolton is really trying hard to get back to his feet.
Bolton defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Hogan.
Bolton has given up his back - I don’t know if this is a deliberate ploy to try and escape or if he is just struggling down there.

Bolton can't escape the position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Hogan sinks in the hooks and is looking for the choke. He's got it! Bolton taps out!
