Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jake Ingram! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, John Alabiso! The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, George Francis and Cecil Peabody.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ingram clinches. Nice elbow from Alabiso.
It looks like Jake Ingram has been cut. Alabiso has Ingram pressed against the cage, preventing Ingram from circling away and getting back to striking at range. Alabiso with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.
Alabiso tries a knee to the head but Ingram blocks it.
Alabiso using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Ingram has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.

Alabiso throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Ingram blocks it with crossed arms. Ingram fails to pull guard.

Nice elbow from Alabiso. Ingram pulls guard effortlessly. Ingram is scooting his butt against the cage and has managed to get back to his feet. Alabiso presses him back against the cage, presumably looking to take the fight back to the mat. This has been an exciting period of action! Ingram blocks an elbow strike. Alabiso misses with a knee to the head. Ingram avoids a wild elbow strike from Alabiso. Ingram will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Alabiso up against the cage. Both guys are working to get underhooks. Ingram looking to slow down the pace here. Alabiso lands an elbow inside that Ingram shrugs off.
That's one minute gone in the round. Alabiso using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Ingram has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.

Ingram is trying to push Alabiso away but Alabiso has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere. Alabiso pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the cage. Ingram tries to break free but Alabiso pushes him back against the cage. Alabiso lands a knee to the head.
Ingram tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Alabiso just stands there and leans against the cage. Alabiso tries a knee to the head but Ingram blocks it.
Ingram drags the fight down to the ground.
Ingram manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Alabiso manages to get himself to full guard.
Alabiso keeping moving, preventing Ingram from controlling successfully. Alabiso has momentary wrist control but Ingram slips an elbow through the middle.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Ingram is standing up over Alabiso. Alabiso looks to escape but Ingram dives into side control.
Ingram tries for a kimura but Alabiso is defending well. Ingram taking a breather here. Ingram wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Alabiso, who protects the arm well.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Alabiso wants to get back to his feet but Ingram is dominant here and he's now got Alabiso's back! Ingram is working for the choke. I would put my money on him to finish from this position. He's rolled onto his back and has dragged Alabiso with him. Alabiso is trying to defend but Ingram has an arm under the chin now! Alabiso grimaces and is forced to tap out!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:41 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Jake Ingram!
