The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Daniel Franklin and Frank Dennis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Manning scores with a jab to the body.
Jinx closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Manning works his way to full guard. Good work.
Jinx won't allow Manning to sweep him here.

Jinx really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Manning. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Manning has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Manning is working actively from the bottom, looking for submissions. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! Jinx has his hands clasped together but Manning extends and breaks Jinx's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by Manning.
