Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Franco Slice (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Star Man (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters really staring each other down here, as Star Man enters the cage!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Peter Branson, Daniel Franklin and Winston Alpacca.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Slice wants to clinch up but Man keeps it at a distance.
Slice checks the leg kick.
Man throws a jab but it's blocked by Slice.
Slice throws a big counter combination but Man scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage.
Man buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Slice moves out of range as Man throws a body kick.
Slice throws a low kick but it's checked well by Man.
Man connects with an inside leg kick.
Man lands a nice leg kick that just misses Slice's sensitive parts.
Man looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Man goes for a high kick. It partially lands.
The fight stays on the outside here - Slice looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Slice checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time.
Slice dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Man lands a leg kick that knocks Slice off balance momentarily.
Man tries to land a front kick but Slice steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
The crowd cheers as Slice lands an impressive looking overhand right. Man doesn't seem phased though.
Man looks to throw the jab but Slice is out of range.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Man connects with a high kick.
Slice tries to bum rush Man with a series of wild strikes but Man uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Slice swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
A jab from Slice does it's job there.
Slice tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Man paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Man throws a push kick but Slice slaps the foot to one side.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Man, right into the meat.
Slice throws a combination that misses
and Man counters with a slapping leg kick.
Man is looking to land body kicks.
Slice throws a combination. Man tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
Slice tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
That kick from Man tenderised Slice's leg. Slice is trying to keep his angry face on.
Man will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Slice misses with a two punch combination.
Man is looking to land body kicks.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Slice misses with the combination.
Slice tries a head kick but it misses.
Slice blocks a head kick by Man.
Slice moves out of range as Man throws a body kick.

Slice tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Man looks for the body kick but Slice saw that one coming.
Man goes for a double leg but Slice avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Slice continues to drive forward.
Slice is looking to clinch.
Slice scores with a jab.
A clash of legs there as Slice blocks the low kick.
Slice throws a sloppy head kick and Man moves out of range easily.
Man walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Slice checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Slice misses with a head kick.
Man shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Slice's guard.
Slice wants to stand but Man is controlling the position.
Slice is breathing heavily.
Man's corner is telling him to maintain position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Man's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Man trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Man landing with the ground and pound.
Man content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.
Man sitting in guard, not really doing much.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Man throws a leg kick which misses Slice's front leg but catches the back leg as Slice tries to avoid it.
Slice swinging wildly here.
Slice tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Man manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
A nice leg kick lands there from Man.
A slapping leg kick lands for Man.
Man feints and then cracks Slice's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Slice down.
Man scores with a spinning back kick!
Slice looks to throw a body kick
and Man counters with a thumping low kick.
A solid leg kick lands there for Man.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Star Man dominated that round.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Man avoids a punch combination nicely.
Man has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

Slice takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
The fight stays on the outside here - Slice looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Man.
Slice dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Man slips a straight right by Slice.
Man throws a sloppy head kick and Slice moves out of range easily.

Man explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work.
Man with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Slice misses with a two punch combination.
Slice looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Man was about to counter that last move with a leg kick but changes his mind.
Slice tries to sprawl but Man drives through with a takedown into half guard.
Man looks to score some points with some ground and pound.
Man working Slice over with strikes.
Slice knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Man on the ground.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Man lands with a punch from half guard.
Man has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Man is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Slice sees it coming and defends easily.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Man is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.

The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Man lands a nice short elbow.

Man seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.

Man is nestled in close to Slice, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
Man works his foot free and advances to mount.
Man fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
Slice is rocked!
Man lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
Oh Slice is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Man looking to finish here with some ground and pound. He lands one big shot that has Slice covering up... and two more big strikes land, forcing the referee to step in and put and end to proceedings! This fight is all over!
