Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Mr Jingles (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Khasan Khaliev (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jingles's entrance music is Cat Scratch Fever-Ted Nugent. A fine choice. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
5 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Mr Jingles!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Khasan Khaliev!
The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Jack Bonds and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jingles lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
Jingles avoids the body shot from Khaliev.
Khaliev closes this distance looking for a takedown but Jingles circles away.
Jingles tries to close the distance and clinch up but Khaliev swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Jingles feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Khaliev's calf.
Jingles fails with an attempt to clinch.
Jingles throws a shot to the body.
A slapping body kick lands there for Jingles.
Khaliev gets tackled into the cage by Jingles. Jingles maintains the clinch.

Jingles manages to break the clinch.
Khaliev tries to clinch there but Jingles circles away.
Khaliev stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Khaliev wants it to stay on the feet.
Khaliev darts in and clinches Jingles up against the cage.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Khaliev takes a knee right on the jaw!
Jingles prevents a body shot from Khaliev.
Jingles manages to break the clinch.
Jingles has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Jingles shoots in looking for a takedown but Khaliev manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Jingles's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Khaliev gets tackled into the cage by Jingles. Jingles maintains the clinch.
Khaliev fails to pull guard.
Khaliev looks winded!
Jingles breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Jingles moves in looking to clinch but Khaliev pushes him off.
Jingles tries to clinch up
and Khaliev counters with a three punch combo that has Jingles backing up. Jingles nods at Khaliev to acknowledge the strikes.
Jingles chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Jingles lets loose with a powerful body kick. Khaliev will feel that in the morning.
Jingles lands a big head kick that sends Khaliev tumbling to the mat! Jingles takes a step backwards and waves Khaliev back to his feet - he wants the finish!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Jingles closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Khaliev did well to prevent Jingles getting side control.
Khaliev is rocked!
Jingles postures up and decides to stand up, from the half guard. The ref calls for Khaliev to stand up.
Jingles shoots in for a takedown but Khaliev shows good takedown defense.
Despite the aggression on Khaliev's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Mr Jingles. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Jingles has closed the distance and engaged Khaliev in a clinch.
Jingles breaks the clinch.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Jingles gets a clinch.
Jingles prevents a takedown attempt there.
Jingles softening up his opponent with strikes, against the cage.
Jingles breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Ohhhhh! A huge head kick from Jingles! Khaliev is out on his feet! Jingles rushes in and throws more strikes. The ref is looking closely - Khaliev is covering up but the punishment is just too much and the ref steps in to stop the fight! Khaliev is staring into space, just thankful that the beatdown has ended. Brutal finish.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:31 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Mr Jingles!
In his post fight interview, Mr Jingles gave a big smile as he said '"You're nothing but a mouse"'.
