Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Nate Freeman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bastian Nokia (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Freeman kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Old Firm Casuals - Better start running. Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Wesley Smith and Stewart Dunkirk.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Freeman scores with a jab to the body.
A momentary lapse in concentration from Nokia enables Freeman to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Nokia manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
Nokia kicks Freeman off and gets to his feet.
Freeman darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Freeman is pushing Nokia up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.
Freeman has hold of one of Nokia's legs. Nokia is fighting the takedown attempt but Freeman gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard.
Nokia pushes Freeman off and scrambles back to his feet.

That was a close round but I would say that Nate Freeman will probably get the nod.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Freeman accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Freeman holds on and takes a little breather.

Nokia manages to wriggle out and sneak his way back up to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched up against the cage.
Freeman is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Nokia is keeping busy.
Freeman wants the takedown. Nokia is fighting it off but Freeman persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Nokia's guard against the cage.
