Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between John Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Beaumont McHale (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jones comes to the cage accompanied by Fort Minor - Remember The Name. McHale is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Half of Fame . Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Igor Prikhodko, Illya Tyunina and Aleksei Zolotukhin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jones misses with a hook
and McHale counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.

McHale is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.
McHale is thwarting Jones's attempts to control the position.
McHale lands with a punch from half guard.
McHale prevents Jones from improving his position.
Jones is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but McHale pulls his head out easily.
McHale seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
McHale wants to pass to mount but Jones is defending the position.
Jones wants to control but McHale is keeping busy and won't allow it.
McHale working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
McHale drops an elbow to the side of Jones's head.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Jones is looking for a sweep. McHale is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

McHale really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Jones. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Jones wants to control but McHale is keeping busy.
Jones has hold of McHale's hands but McHale slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
Jones is trying to get back to full guard.
McHale scores with a couple of good hammerfists.
McHale is pressing down on Jones's thigh, looking to free his foot. Jones is holding on for now.
McHale prevents Jones from improving his position.
McHale wants to pass the guard but Jones is defending well.
McHale has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.

McHale postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Jones looks a forlorn figure.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
McHale lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

McHale connects with a couple of big shots that have Jones covering up! Oh, this looks bad for Jones! McHale fires away with several more unanswered shots and the referee has no choice but to step in! This one is aaaaaaaaaaall over!

A pretty intense looking Beaumont McHale took the opportunity post-fight to ask for a shot at the title.
