Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jarrod Mcgowan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Snow (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 6 - 0, fighting out of London, Jarrod Mcgowan! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, John Snow! The judges for this bout are William Gold, Richard Clark and Chris Edwards.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Snow clinches. Mcgowan is fighting off a takedown attempt but Snow is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Mcgowan to the mat. Mcgowan regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat. Mcgowan has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Snow off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds. Snow shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Snow showed some decent athleticism there. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Snow is looking to advance position but Mcgowan won't allow it. Snow wants to work for an arm triangle but Mcgowan is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Snow stands up and beckons Mcgowan to join him on the feet. Snow closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Mcgowan quickly recovers to half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Snow has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Snow sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. Snow is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Let's hope that Snow has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight. Snow lands a heavy elbow. Snow trying to control but he's not successful this time. Mcgowan really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Snow connects with a couple of good shots from mount.
Snow quickly switches position and commits to an armbar! It's a big risk for Snow but it's paid off an Mcgowan is forced to tap! Nice work by Snow.
