These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Markos has managed to clinch.
Markos breaks the clinch.
Markos moves into the clinch successfully.
Nguyen changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Markos fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Markos displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Nguyen.
Markos pushes Nguyen up against the cage in a clinch.
Markos escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Markos with a lazy takedown attempt
and Nguyen counters with a shoot takedown. Markos fights it but they end up in guard.
Markos not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Nguyen drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. Nguyen seems to have locked his on tight now - Markos screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for Nguyen, as he picks up the win!
