The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
thomas shoots in for a takedown but Aster shows good takedown defense.
thomas shoots for a takedown but Aster saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Aster throws a front kick aimed at thomas's knee but thomas avoids it well.
thomas takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Aster doesn't succeed with the takedown
and thomas counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
thomas is breathing heavily.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Aster trying to hold on to thomas's head to control him but thomas postures up.
thomas is working for a kimura from half guard. He's really concentrating on the hold and it's allowed Aster to slip a leg under and get back to full guard.
Aster looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but thomas is defending well. Aster quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! thomas has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Aster celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.
