Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Myles Richards (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Simo Vilat (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Simo Vilat is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Myles Richards! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Simo Vilat! The judges for this bout are Patrick Alders, Daniel Blasius and Wagner Zegers.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Vilat moves into the clinch. Richards avoids the elbow strike from Vilat, against the cage.
Richards looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now. Vilat has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Richards uses from the top position. Vilat throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Vilat is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Richards trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Vilat pushes Richards off and gets back to his feet.
Richards gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Vilat trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Richards keeping moving, preventing Vilat from controlling successfully. Vilat is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. Vilat trying to control but Richards is working from the bottom. Richards working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Vilat doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Vilat manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Richards is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Vilat is aware though and is defending well.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Vilat trying to stand up but can't free himself from Richards's guard. Richards is looking to stand up but Vilat isn't so interested in that idea. Richards might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Vilat throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Richards escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Vilat gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Richards is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Vilat rolls with it to try and escape but Richards cranks on the arm and Vilat is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
