Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Abi Tural (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Daniel Ryan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ryan has chosen I'd Love to Knock the Hell out of You by Hank Williams, Jr as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the ring.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
9 - 5 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Abi Tural! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
32 - 25 - 2, fighting out of London, Daniel Ryan! The judges for this bout are James Atkins, James Ackerman and Sam Margolis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ryan throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Tural's waist but Tural gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Ryan off to one side. Ryan ducks under a wild hook from Tural. Ryan is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here. Ryan shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Tural pinned against the ropes. Tural gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Tural rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Ryan counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Ryan looking to pass the guard. Ryan drops back, looking for a kneebar! Tural looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Tural looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Tural!
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Ryan is trying to get back to half guard. Tural wants to control but Ryan is keeping him busy.
That's one minute gone in the round. Ryan tries to improve position but can't. Tural is looking to take a break and control but Ryan is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Ryan is trying to get back to half guard. Ryan is still trying to improve position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Tural is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position. Tural is looking to take a break and control but Ryan is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Ryan is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the ropes but Tural has just dragged him back down to the mat. Tural takes a little break here. Ryan wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well. Ryan is trying to control Tural's posture but Tural avoids it. Ryan gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Ryan is looking for a sweep. Tural is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves. Ryan wants to control but Tural is keeping busy and won't allow it. Ryan works his way to full guard. Good work. Ryan is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Ryan is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Ryan has his foot on Tural's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Tural works his way back into a safe position though. Tural sitting in guard, not really doing much.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Ryan changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Tural tries to avoid it but Ryan manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Tural to the ground. Tural escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Abi Tural has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Daniel Ryan.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Ryan fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Ryan fails miserably with a takedown attempt. A telegraphed right hand from Tural misses the target. Tural lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw. Ryan tries for a takedown but Tural sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Tural throws a head kick that misses. Ryan throws out a loose jab but Tural uses good head movement to avoid it. A head kick misses from Tural. Abi Tural is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Tural misses with a jab, cross combination.
Ryan shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Tural defends it nicely. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Ryan throws out a powerful jab. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Abi Tural will probably get the nod. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!
Excellent takedown into side control there by Ryan. Ryan is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Tural has escaped the position, nice work there. We've been hearing good reports from Tural's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today. Ryan wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Tural, who protects the arm well. Ryan tries to advance to mount but Tural denies him. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Tural struggling a bit here. Ryan has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Tural is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Ryan yanks on the arm and Tural is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Ryan.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:57 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Daniel Ryan! Daniel Ryan decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
