The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kinglet takes a body punch but keeps moving.
A head kick misses from Gomez.
Kinglet is looking for the big counter here.
A shot to the liver by Gomez. Beautiful body shot.
Gomez lands a nice leg kick that just misses Kinglet's sensitive parts.
Kinglet has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Gomez.
Gomez scores with a kick to the body.
Gomez paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Kinglet doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Gomez's corner calls for a 1-2. Gomez obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
The fighters circle, before Gomez throws a beautiful high kick that crashes into Kinglet's neck, sending him stumbling to the floor! Gomez lands more strikes and forces a referee stoppage! That one ended in an instant!
