The judges for this bout are Shigeki Fujiwara, Kenichi Hosakawa and Shirou Masuda.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brandao is looking to slow Walker down with leg kicks.
Walker fails to land the takedown.

Brandao went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.
Walker's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Brandao connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Walker scrambles back to his feet.
It looks like Tex Walker has been cut.
Walker tries for a takedown but Brandao circles away easily
and Brandao makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Evandro Brandao has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Tex Walker.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Brandao goes for a small jab and connects. Now Brandao goes in closer pressing the issue. Left hook, right straight! Walker stumbles back but Brandao runs in with a huge uppercut knocking Walker to the ground! What a finish! You have to wonder if Walker will ever be the same after a knockout like that.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:47 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Evandro Brandao!
In his post fight interview, Evandro Brandao started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
