Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Raijin Kage (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Liquid Gold (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kage's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Ride the Lightning. Raijin Kage has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 22 - 11 - 1, fighting out of London, Raijin Kage!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 5 - 0, fighting out of New York, Liquid Gold!
The judges for this bout are Phil Schofield, Steven Brown and Donald Grub.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kage digs a good body shot into Gold's ribs.
Gold blocks the body kick.
Kage misses with a hook
and Kage takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Gold connects with a jab.
Gold misses with a straight left.
Kage throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.
Gold checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time.
Kage with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Gold throws a quick inside leg kick.
Raijin Kage seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Kage avoids a kick to the body.
We've been informed that Gold has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.
Gold checks a leg kick nicely.
Kage throws a body punch but Gold moves out of range.
Gold thumps Kage with a low kick.
Gold jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Gold takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Kage tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Gold defends well and Kage ends up having to push Gold into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Kage tries to score with a low kick but Gold moves his leg out of the way.
Kage fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Gold.
Kage keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Gold.
Nice shot lands for Gold.
Kage tries to land a front kick but Gold steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Kage displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Gold throws out the jab.
Gold misses with an uppercut.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Kage misses with a body kick.
Kage misses with a body kick.
Kage keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Gold.
A nice inside leg kick there by Kage. That's going to slow Gold down.
Gold scores with a jab. Kage acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
Kage misses with a kick to the body.
A head kick misses from Kage.
Kage tries to work over Gold's front leg with a kick but Gold checks it.
Gold throws a low kick but Kage avoids it.
Kage cracks the inside of Gold's front leg.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Kage.
Gold keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.
Kage throws a leg kick
and Gold connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.


It looks like Raijin Kage has been cut.
Gold sizes up Kage with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Kage keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Gold.
Kage fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Gold manages to avoid it.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Gold ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Some bone on bone action there as Gold checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
Gold lands a leg kick that knocks Kage off balance momentarily.
Gold is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range.
Gold misses with a body shot.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
That kick from Kage tenderised Gold's leg. Gold is trying to keep his angry face on.
Gold throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Kage on the side of the head.
A looping hook to the body misses from Gold. Kage does a little dance to reset his feet.
Kage connects with a leg kick. Gold looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Kage moves out of range as Gold strikes.
Gold takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Nice uppercut there from Gold.


Kage is rocked!
Gold lands with a big right hook that stumbles Kage - he's out on his feet here! Gold follows up with another monster hook that separates Kage from consciousness! Kage falls, almost in slow motion to the canvas! Gold stands and admires his work as the crowd go wild.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:29 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Liquid Gold!
Liquid Gold decided to thank the fans in attendance for making a great atmosphere. It seemed to go down pretty well.
Raijin Kage was interviewed post fight and said 'The storm only gets stronger...'.
