Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kunyuk Beluk (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cane Corso (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Cane Corso was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
6 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Kunyuk Beluk! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Cane Corso! The judges for this bout are Eliza Hachem, Donatello Bradman and Ron Honeybunn.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Beluk lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin. Beluk tries to sprawl but Corso drives through with a takedown into half guard. Beluk keeping control of the position. Corso is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Beluk has managed to free his arm - good work. Beluk looking for submissions off his back. Beluk looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Beluk is trying is best to control the position here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Corso seems to be working for a kimura but Beluk defends the submission attempt. Beluk is positioning himself well to prevent Corso advancing to mount. The fighters are battling for position here. Beluk manages to regain full guard. Nice work. A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Beluk holds on and takes a little breather. Beluk is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Beluk is trying to keep Corso in close.
Beluk is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Beluk is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Beluk seems to have improved his submission grappling technique since last time we saw him. Let's see if he can pull off a submission. Corso is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Beluk is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Beluk has escaped and now he's on top!
Corso looks winded! Corso looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Beluk landing some decent shots from guard. Corso keeping moving, preventing Beluk from controlling successfully. Beluk is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. Beluk stands and throws Corso's legs to the side, diving into side control. Corso felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Beluk has hold of Corso's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Corso seems comfortable defending it but Beluk has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Corso is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Corso is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Beluk couldn't care less - he's delighted!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:16 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Kunyuk Beluk! Our winner, Kunyuk Beluk, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
