The judges for this bout are David Hoff, Winston Alpacca and Peter Branson.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lovejoy darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Lovejoy misses with a head kick.
Lovejoy wants to clinch up but Couture keeps it at a distance.

Couture clinches up with Lovejoy and pushes him back against the cage.
Lovejoy lands on the inside with an uppercut.
Couture fails to pull the fight into his guard.

Couture manages to pull guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Couture seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.
Lovejoy missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
Lovejoy wants to pass the guard but Couture is keeping the position.
Couture utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Couture pulls Lovejoy in to control the position.

Lovejoy drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. Lovejoy seems to have locked his on tight now - Couture screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for Lovejoy, as he picks up the win!
