Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Earnest Hebert (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kallas Alexou (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Earnest Hebert! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Kallas Alexou! The judges for this bout are John Kavanagh, Eddie Farnsworth and Dean Styles.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hebert tries to close the distance and clinch up but Alexou swats him away and circles back towards the center. Alexou steps in looking to clinch after the strikes miss from Hebert. Hebert lands with a kick to the temple. Alexou shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?" Alexou clinches with his opponent.
Hebert tries for a takedown. No joy.
Alexou gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Hebert regains guard.
Alexou postures up and lands a big shot to Hebert's brow. Alexou sitting in guard, not really doing much. It looks like Alexou might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Hebert looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Alexou postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hebert throwing strikes off his back to little effect.
Alexou lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard. Hebert is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Alexou defends well. Hebert escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Alexou gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Hebert looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Alexou has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Alexou working some strikes from top position. Alexou is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Alexou is working Hebert over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. Alexou controlling from the top position. Alexou got a little sloppy there for a moment and Hebert has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Alexou has managed to get both his arms back between Hebert's legs - danger averted. Alexou slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. Hebert could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Hebert looking for a guillotine here but Alexou defends easily.
Hebert can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Alexou controls the pace.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity. Alexou scores with a takedown into Hebert's guard. Alexou stands up from Hebert's guard - Alexou perhaps looking for a knockout. Alexou looking to score a takedown here. Hebert is defending well but Alexou drives through and ends up in Hebert's guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Alexou is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. Alexou wants to stand but Hebert has a closed guard, so he can't escape. Alexou slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. Alexou scores with a decent looking elbow strike.
Hebert is rocked! Alexou seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Kallas Alexou dominated that round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Alexou closes the distance looking for a takedown. Hebert stuffs it but Alexou still has hold of him. Alexou picks Hebert up in a fireman's lift! The crowd roars in approval. Alexou slams Hebert to the floor and that's really hurt Hebert - he doesn't know where he is! Alexou throws a couple of strikes and the referee steps in to save him! This one is in the books!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:05 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Kallas Alexou!
