Beech comes to the cage accompanied by You Know My Name. Parker has chosen Flash - Queen as his entrance music. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Kelvin Parker was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Beech scores with a nice body kick.

Beech clinches up with Parker and pushes him back against the cage.
Parker tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Beech's elbow.

Beech lands a body punch - he's looking to wear down Parker.

Beech swings wildly with an uppercut but Parker uses good head movement to avoid it.
Parker jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Beech walks away with a smile on his face. Parker gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

and Parker counters with a head kick.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Kelvin Parker seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Beech throws a sloppy head kick and Parker moves out of range easily.

Beech seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter.
We've been informed that Parker has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.

Beech comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.

Parker connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Beech momentarily.
Parker takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.

and Beech counters with an inside leg kick.

Beech works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Parker misses with a left hand
and Beech counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Parker closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Parker takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.

Parker lands with an overhand left.
Parker is looking to clinch but Beech is avoiding it.

Beech misses with a wild body shot.

letting Beech counter with a right hand.
