The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hensley dives in and grabs Mot's left leg, looking for a takedown. Mot pushes down on Hensley's head and hops out.
Hensley closes the distance looking to clinch
and Mot counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Mot.
Mot won't allow Hensley to sweep him here.
Hensley trying to strike off his back.
Mot's corner is telling him to maintain position.
Mot with a flurry of punches that miss.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Mot controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
Mot postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Mot cracks Hensley with a solid left hand.
It looks like Christopher Hensley has been cut.
Hensley trying to punch from his back but it's not doing any damage.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Mot with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.
Mot trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.

Mot working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Hensley's head.
Hensley looking to hit a scissor sweep but Mot is one step ahead there.
Mot keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Hensley's head.
Hensley keeping moving, preventing Mot from controlling successfully.
Mot cracks Hensley with a solid left hand.
Hensley is rocked!
Mot gets to his feet and stands over Hensley, holding his ankles. He dives in with a big left hand that connects! Hensley felt that one! Mot unloads more punches and elbows and this one is over! The ref has dived in to save Hensley from any more punishment!
