Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jimmy Valmer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nick Nowak (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jimmy Valmer has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jimmy Valmer!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Nick Nowak!
The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, Daniel Bishop and Chris Edwards.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.
Nowak has his takedown stuffed

and Valmer counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
Nowak pushes Valmer off looking to stand but Valmer dives back in and keeps control.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Valmer accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Well Valmer has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
