Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Shinya Nakamura!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Florent Gunines!
The judges for this bout are Seu Braga, Matheus Silva and Emerson Jorge.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gunines walks into a stiff left hand from Nakamura.
A slapping body kick lands there for Nakamura.
Gunines looks winded!
Nakamura wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Nakamura throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Gunines stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
BOOM! Nakamura lands a beautiful left hook that drops Gunines. Gunines tries to recover but Nakamura is having none of it, landing more punishing shots from mount. One final crushing shot and Gunines lies motionless on the canvas. The fight is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:20 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Shinya Nakamura!
