PBP Commentary |
Coming up we have a light heavyweight kickboxing rules bout between Magnum Gunn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Terrance Thundercunt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Magnum Gunn!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Terrance Thundercunt!
The judges for this bout are Peter Branson, Bart Greer and Sandra Marshall.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Thundercunt misses the shot to the body.
Thundercunt throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Thundercunt throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Gunn counters with a straight right hand.
It looks like Terrance Thundercunt has been cut.
Gunn staying out of range there.
Thundercunt swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
An attempted straight right counter from Gunn misses the target.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Gunn, as that shot connected.
Gunn with a body punch. A glancing blow.
Gunn fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Thundercunt.

and Gunn counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Gunn turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
The fighters circling - Thundercunt throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Thundercunt tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Gunn was well out of range. Poor timing from Thundercunt.

Thundercunt connects with a good right hand that stumbles Gunn. Gunn circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Thundercunt misses the jab.
Terrance Thundercunt seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Gunn throws a shot to the body.
Gunn lands a head kick that bluckles Thundercunt and drops him to the canvas. He's still conscious but it looks like it's going to take him the full 10 seconds to get back his senses! He's up on 9 and seems to be just about OK to continue.... the referee agrees and we're back to the action with Gunn no doubt looking to push for a finish!
Gunn lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Gunn fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Thundercunt is out of range.
Thundercunt now looks to counter with a shot at the body.
Thundercunt misses with a hook.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Thundercunt takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Thundercunt throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Thundercunt ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Gunn moves away.
Thundercunt lands a nice shot to the body.
Thundercunt tries to clinch but Gunn is having none of it.
Gunn swings for the body but Thundercunt moves out of range.
Thundercunt swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Thundercunt throws out a loose jab but Gunn uses good head movement to avoid it.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
A solid leg kick lands there for Gunn.
Gunn definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.

Thundercunt has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Thundercunt misses with a hook. Gunn ducked under it nicely.

letting Gunn counter with a right hand.

A little feinted left hand from Gunn on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
Gunn blocks a jab.
Thundercunt walks into a perfectly timed head kick by Gunn and drops face first to the floor! Thundercunt's eyes are wide open but he's not all there - he's just flopping around the mat like a drunk on rollerskates! The referee doesn't even start the count - he's called an end to the fight, with Thundercunt in no position to continue!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Head Kick). Magnum Gunn!
