Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
17 - 8 - 0, fighting out of London, Jack Olin! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
24 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Martin Saint Louis! The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Jack Bonds and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Saint Louis throws a hook but Olin avoids it easily. Olin avoids a kick to the body.
Olin goes for a double leg but Saint Louis avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Saint Louis continues to drive forward. Saint Louis lunges at Olin with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Olin's hand. Saint Louis fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Olin on the side of the head. Saint Louis just misses with a punch to the body.
Saint Louis explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work. Olin ducks under a wild hook from Saint Louis. Olin checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time. Olin changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Saint Louis lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.
Saint Louis swings for the body but Olin moves out of range.
Saint Louis stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Saint Louis wants it to stay on the feet. Saint Louis throws a nice outside leg kick.
That's one minute gone in the round. Olin moves out of range of the body kick from Saint Louis.
Martin Saint Louis seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Olin tries for a takedown but Saint Louis circles away easily and Saint Louis counters with a straight right hand. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jack Olin. That's going to take a lot out of him. Olin fails with the takedown. Saint Louis lands a glancing blow to the side of Olin's head. Olin keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Saint Louis lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh. Olin walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush. Olin shoots for a double leg takedown but Saint Louis sprawls well. He's pushed Olin's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Saint Louis misses with an attempted mid kick.

That's two minutes gone in the round. A telegraphed right hand from Saint Louis misses the target. Saint Louis throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena. Martin Saint Louis is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Saint Louis jabs Olin right on the nose. Olin blinks but takes it well. This has been an exciting period of action! Olin shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Olin is rocked! Olin ducks right into an uppercut from Saint Louis. Oh Olin is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Saint Louis throws an overhand right that drops Olin like a sack of potatoes! Saint Louis dives in to finish the fight with more strikes and this one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:34 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Martin Saint Louis! Martin Saint Louis took to the mic in his post fight interview and said 'Wanted to come out and bang tonight instead of point fighting. Bring em!'.
