Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Mark Corden (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Wyatt Twinkletoe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Corden kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Osmani Garcia - El Taxi . Wyatt Twinkletoe has the eye of the tiger tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Mark Corden!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Wyatt Twinkletoe!
The judges for this bout are Dirk Anderson, Michael Johnstone and Sandra Marshall.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Corden misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Twinkletoe.
Corden definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.

Corden slaps away a takedown attempt from Twinkletoe, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Corden appears to be looking for a big counter.
Corden scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.

Twinkletoe postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Twinkletoe is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Corden asserts his dominance and retains side control.

That was a close round but I would say that Mark Corden will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.


Twinkletoe throws a right and a left that both miss.
Twinkletoe tries to score a power double leg takedown but Corden sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Twinkletoe somewhat.
Corden has not gone for a single takedown so far in this fight, which seems like a very strange tactic when you consider that he has the superior wrestling and BJJ.
