Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Leandro Palazzolo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jon Snitch (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Leandro Palazzolo! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jon Snitch! The judges for this bout are George Francis, Robert Twigg and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Snitch gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Palazzolo misses with a punch to the body.

Snitch has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Palazzolo is trying to keep an underhook but Snitch manages to get the takedown into half guard. Snitch is trying to control the action in half guard but Palazzolo is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Snitch wants to pass the guard but Palazzolo is defending well. Palazzolo is trying to get back to full guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Palazzolo fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Snitch avoids it really well and circles away.
That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Palazzolo tries for a takedown but Snitch sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Palazzolo takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it. Palazzolo gets caught napping as Snitch dives in and scores a takedown. Palazzolo manages to retain guard. Palazzolo definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. Snitch controlling from the top position. Snitch wants to control from the top but Palazzolo keeps moving. Snitch is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Snitch slaps away a takedown attempt from Palazzolo, before circling back to the center of the mat. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Leandro Palazzolo. That's going to take a lot out of him.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Palazzolo on the wrong end of a nice hook. Palazzolo misses with a takedown and Snitch moves into the clinch. Snitch pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Palazzolo dives in and grabs Snitch's left leg, looking for a takedown. Snitch pushes down on Palazzolo's head and hops out. Jon Snitch seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Snitch dives in and scores a takedown into Palazzolo's guard. Palazzolo keeping moving, preventing Snitch from controlling successfully. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Snitch stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Palazzolo swivels though and keeps the full guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Snitch leaves Palazzolo with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Snitch lands a nice shot that snaps Palazzolo's head back.

Palazzolo is not content to let Snitch control the position. Snitch laying and praying for a moment but Palazzolo takes advantage and regains half guard. Snitch wants to control but Palazzolo is keeping him busy. Snitch has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

Snitch trying to control the action but Palazzolo is working from the bottom. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.

He'll be looking to tighten that up but Snitch can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Snitch wants to control from the top but Palazzolo keeps moving. Palazzolo might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Snitch looking to pass the guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Snitch is pushing down on Palazzolo's leg trying to pass to half guard. Palazzolo is fighting to maintain full guard but Snitch has managed to sneak the leg through. Leandro Palazzolo has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Snitch trying to control from half guard but Palazzolo is working away.

And that's the end of the fight! Jon Snitch comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Snitch has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
