Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Star Dust (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Antti Karhu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Dust might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Die for Metal. Karhu has chosen Samuli Edelmann - Teit meistä kauniin as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
18 - 7 - 1, fighting out of Los Angeles, Star Dust! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
20 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Antti Karhu! The judges for this bout are James Atkins, Phil Schofield and Paul Tew.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Dust misses with a leg kick. Dust avoids the body shot from Karhu.
We've been hearing reports that Dust has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight. Karhu motions for Dust to come forward. Karhu throws a leg kick but it misses it's target. Dust throws a right hand that misses
enabling Karhu to counter with a crisp jab. A thudding body kick lands there by Dust!
Karhu uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Dust. Karhu misses with a leg kick and Dust cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Karhu has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him. Dust tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Karhu was well out of range. Poor timing from Dust. Karhu throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Karhu attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin. Karhu steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Dust. That one must have hurt. Karhu swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Dust tries a head kick but it misses.
A little jabbing left from Karhu on the counter but it doesn't find it's target. Karhu dodges the punch combination from Dust.
A big left from Karhu misses. Karhu moves away from the strike by Dust.
That's one minute gone in the round. Karhu tries to clinch but Dust is having none of it. Karhu throws a half hearted mid kick. Dust throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Karhu makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick. Dust throws a low kick but it's checked well by Karhu. Dust throws a body kick that misses. Dust jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.
Karhu closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Dust lands a shoulder strike. Dust lands a hook to the side of the head. An uppercut to the body lands inside from Karhu. Karhu tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Dust's elbow. Karhu misses with a hook from the clinch. Karhu lands a left hand that snaps the head of Dust backwards. Dust makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut. Karhu scores with a shoulder strike. Dust scores with an uppercut up the middle. Dust lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Karhu backwards. Dust working some nice short punches in the clinch. Dust escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Karhu takes a body punch but keeps moving. Dust connects with a body shot. Karhu misses with a low kick. Karhu tries to close the distance and clinch up but Dust swats him away and circles back towards the center. Dust tries to land a leg kick but Karhu saw it coming and moves away.
Dust moves out of range of the strikes. Dust quickly followed up with a counter body kick but doesn't connect. Dust takes a swing at Karhu's ribcage but misses. Dust scores with a jab to the body. Karhu on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere. Dust shoots in for a double leg but Karhu sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Karhu dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Karhu rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Dust moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Karhu takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh. Karhu looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it. Dust misses with a straight left. Karhu feints the counter takedown. Karhu tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Dust moves out of range of the strikes. Karhu thows a left - swing and a miss! Dust misses with a double jab.
Karhu ducks under a wild hook from Dust. Dust looks to land a left hand but Karhu moved out of range nicely. Dust keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Karhu takes a swing at Dust's ribcage but misses. Dust slips under a jab from Karhu. Dust feinted with a counter takedown. Dust throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Dust lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Dust. Karhu on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Dust lands with a nice body kick. Karhu moves away from the strike by Dust.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Karhu fakes a head shot and lands one to the body. Dust throws a hook but Karhu blocks it. Karhu misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Dust.

Karhu throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Dust stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Dust looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple. Dust feints and then cracks Karhu's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Karhu down. Dust throws a solid leg kick but Karhu takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Dust. Karhu tries a head kick but it misses.
Dust gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Karhu. Dust is looking to score with low kicks. Dust throws a nice inside leg kick. The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end. Dust blocks a head kick by Karhu.
Dust lands a nice looking kick to the body. Karhu takes a step back to recover. Dust shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Karhu is trying to defend but Dust finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Star Dust dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Dust wants to get back to full guard. Dust gets back to full guard.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Karhu controlling the action here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Dust is pressing down on Karhu's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. Karhu's corner is telling him to maintain position. Dust is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Karhu can do to turn this around? Karhu trying to control the position from guard on top but Dust is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Dust escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Karhu gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Dust throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Karhu throwing strikes but missing. Dust keeping moving, preventing Karhu from controlling successfully. Dust looking to hit a scissor sweep but Karhu is one step ahead there. Dust is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Karhu defends well. Dust is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Karhu sitting in guard, not really doing much. Dust is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Karhu is aware though and is defending well. Karhu trying to control but Dust is working from the bottom.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Star Dust is winning the standup battle so far. An inside leg kick lands from Karhu. Dust swings and misses with a hook to the body.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Dust misses with the body kick and Karhu counters with a leg kick. Dust takes a body kick right on the floating rib. Ouchie.
Dust chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Karhu can pounce on him.
Karhu looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Karhu wants to land a leg kick but Dust is out of range. Karhu fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Karhu throws a wild body kick that Dust sees coming a mile off. Karhu ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Dust moves away. Karhu connects with a solid leg kick. Karhu scores with a slapping inside leg kick. Dust throws a hook to the side of Karhu's head but Karhu sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Karhu on the wrong end of a nice jab. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Karhu stuns Dust with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. Karhu defending well as Dust loads up on a big left hand. Karhu fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

Antti Karhu showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.
Dust throws a leg kick but Karhu sees it coming and moves out of range. Dust misses with a looping left. Karhu looks like he wants to counter punch here. Dust tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Dust throws a nice outside leg kick. Dust takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. Karhu takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Dust lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected. The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Dust checks a leg kick. Karhu throws a big shot that misses. Karhu is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Dust rather than just go for the knockout. Karhu thuds his right hand into Dust's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters. Dust avoids the body shot from Karhu.
Dust tries to counter with a takedown but Karhu is quick to defend against it. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Karhu throws a front kick aimed at Dust's knee but Dust avoids it well. Nice uppercut lands for Dust. That snapped Karhu's head back.
Dust gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Karhu to score an easy takedown into full guard. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Karhu lands a couple of digs.

Karhu is working Dust over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. Star Dust overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Dust escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Karhu gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Dust has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Karhu is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Dust.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Dust manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu! Karhu has hold of Dust's hands but Dust slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow. Karhu slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work. Dust slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Dust pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Karhu is keeping the position for now. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Karhu lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard. Dust keeping full guard, as Karhu tries to pass. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Karhu postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Dust is looking for a triangle here but Karhu uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.
Karhu scoring with punches from side control. Karhu wants to control but Dust is keeping him busy. Dust is trying to improve his position. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Karhu connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Dust some visible discomfort.
And that's the end of the fight! Antti Karhu comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Karhu has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

In favor of your winner, by unanimous decision... Antti Karhu! Antti Karhu tried to hype himself up post fight but didn't word it too well and it ended up with him sounding like a bit of a tool.
