Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Baraban Korzov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tom Watson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Korzov wants to clinch. Watson throws a jab but it's blocked by Korzov. Korzov is looking to clinch. Korzov wants to clinch up but Watson keeps it at a distance. Watson fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Korzov, pushing him back against the cage. Watson lands a damaging elbow. Watson lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Korzov backwards. Korzov tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Watson smiles and moves away.
Korzov scores with a hook to the body. Watson takes a step back and tries to catch his breath. Watson misses with a head kick.
No luck for Korzov with that takedown attempt. Korzov misses with a series of wild punches.
That's one minute gone in the round. Korzov tries to clinch but Watson moves away and Watson counters with a big head kick but Korzov shrugs it off. Korzov tries to clinch but Watson moves away and Watson counters by clinching up. Watson will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Korzov up against the cage. Korzov is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Watson pulls him back up using the underhooks. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Baraban Korzov. That's going to take a lot out of him. Watson unloads a knee to the mid-section. Korzov lets out a prehistoric sounding urrrrgh. Watson lands a glancing elbow in the clinch. Korzov is trying to drag Watson to the mat but Watson just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there. Watson has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Korzov is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. Watson lands a nice elbow. Watson lands a nice elbow from the clinch. Watson lands an uppercut. Korzov changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Watson fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Korzov closes the distance but Watson moves to the side and Watson counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Watson.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Watson pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Korzov clinches but Watson breaks the clinch and Watson counters with a straight right hand.
Korzov is rocked! The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Korzov wants to clinch and Watson counters with a monster head kick that knocks Korzov out cold! He topples like fallen a tree, crashing to the mat! Timbeeeeeerrr!
