Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Myers Hockles (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and AL Lickertwat (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
16 - 15 - 1, fighting out of New York, Myers Hockles! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
25 - 23 - 1, fighting out of New York, AL Lickertwat! The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hockles slips a straight right by Lickertwat. Hockles throws a sloppy head kick and Lickertwat moves out of range easily. Lickertwat wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. Hockles fails to land the takedown. Hockles misses with a body kick. Lickertwat avoids the head kick by Hockles.
And Lickertwat tries to counter it with a takedown but Hockles pushes his down on his head and steps out. Hockles shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Lickertwat as he avoids it easily. Lickertwat getting the better of the striking in that exchange. Hockles misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Hockles shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Hockles thows a huge punch but Lickertwat dodges it nicely.
Lickertwat keeping hold of Hockles's head, controlling as best he can. Lickertwat tries to roll over but Hockles keeps him under control.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hockles missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Lickertwat has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Hockles is working away from the top position though. Hockles throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Lickertwat looking for submissions from an awkward position here.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Lickertwat wants to control but Hockles is keeping busy and won't allow it. Lickertwat has hold of Hockles's hands but Hockles slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow. The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Hockles connects with a nice short shot to Lickertwat's temple. Lickertwat is trying to get back to full guard. Lickertwat slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work. Hockles is sitting in close to Lickertwat's body. Lickertwat has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Hockles is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Hockles is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Lickertwat.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:51 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Guillotine). AL Lickertwat! AL Lickertwat gave a mention to Milwaukee's Best Nutrition in his post fight interview. That will please them (and hopefully generate some sales).
