The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Frank Antenori and Don Winkell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sokol fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Suya is out of range.
Sokol throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Suya counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Sokol avoids a low kick by using good footwork.
Nice shot lands for Sokol.
Sokol checks a leg kick nicely.
Sokol has been working on his boxing with his coaches at School Of Fighting in the buildup to the fight.
Sokol just misses with a punch to the body.
Suya scores with a kick to the midsection.

Marcin Sokol seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Sokol misses with a wild body shot.
Suya tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Sokol paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Suya defending well as Sokol loads up on a big left hand.
We've been informed that Suya has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Suya swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Sokol.
It looks like Marcin Sokol has been cut.
Suya blocks a jab.
Suya tries a quick counter leg kick but Sokol is wise to it.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Suya is trying to avoid his opponent's strikes and get into the clinch.

Sokol throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Suya appeared to try and counter that last move with a leg kick.

Sokol moves into range and connects with a jab.
Sokol throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Suya sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Suya throws a hook to the side of Sokol's head but Sokol sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Sokol throws a counter high kick but Suya was just alert enough to avoid it.
Sokol takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Suya misses with an uppercut
and Sokol counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Suya looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Sokol shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Suya eats them both and turns towards Sokol to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
Suya is rocked!
It looks like Kanchai Suya has been cut.
Sokol lands a nice shot to the body.
Suya is still on wobbly legs! Can Sokol finish him?
Sokol scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Suya doesn't seem bothered though.
Sokol slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Sokol fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Suya.
Sokol pounces like a tiger and cracks Suya with a vicious hook! Suya is down but not out! Sokol follows up with more strikes forcing the ref to jump in and stop it!
