The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

McDonald should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

That was a close round but I would say that Fletcher Coleman will probably get the nod.

Coleman's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

Coleman really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Coleman tries to land a front kick but McDonald steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
McDonald tries to close the distance and clinch up but Coleman swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Coleman has not gone for a single takedown so far in this fight, which seems like a very strange tactic when you consider that he has the superior wrestling and BJJ.

Coleman is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Coleman is looking to stand up but he'll have to free his leg first. Instead, McDonald manages to get to full guard.
