Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Elmo Callahan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kuba Zmrd (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kuba Zmrd has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Elmo Callahan's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Ben Watson, Eliza Hachem and Damien Edna.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zmrd manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Callahan on his heels. He'll look to pass Callahan's guard now, I'm sure.
Callahan pulls Zmrd in to control the position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Callahan really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Zmrd is pressing down on Callahan's thigh, looking to free his foot. Callahan is holding on for now.

Zmrd thows a huge punch but Callahan dodges it nicely.
Zmrd takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.

Zmrd drops back, looking for a kneebar! Callahan looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Callahan looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Callahan!

Zmrd is looking to control Callahan's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Zmrd avoid being mounted?

Zmrd tries to roll over but Callahan keeps him under control.
Zmrd is trying to maintain the position but Callahan is very close to passing his half guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Kuba Zmrd will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Zmrd clinches up with Callahan and pushes him back against the cage.
Zmrd turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Zmrd manages to end up in side control.
Callahan explodes and escapes back to his feet! Nice escape there!
Zmrd pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Callahan tries to score a power double leg takedown but Zmrd sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Callahan somewhat.

The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Callahan jumps guard but Zmrd turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.

Zmrd seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.
Callahan postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

Zmrd is fighting to break Callahan's control of his arms but Callahan is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.

Zmrd throws an elbow that misses. Callahan uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Zmrd's guard. Nice move by Callahan!

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Zmrd rushes Callahan and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

Kuba Zmrd showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!

Kuba Zmrd comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Zmrd has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
