Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Smalls Stanley (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lex Lusteer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Smalls Stanley!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Lex Lusteer!
The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Frank Antenori and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stanley shoots in for a takedown but Lusteer shows good takedown defense.
Stanley tries to close the distance and clinch but Lusteer swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

and Stanley counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Lusteer's guard now.
Stanley missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
Stanley trying to control but Lusteer is working from the bottom.
Lusteer pulls Stanley in to control the position.
Stanley is looking to advance position but Lusteer has hit a scissor sweep - now he's on top in mount!

Lusteer is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Stanley wants to hold on but Lusteer pushes him away.

Lusteer is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Stanley can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
Lusteer has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Lusteer cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

Lusteer wants to control the pace but Stanley is squirming around nicely.
Lusteer takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
