Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Simbo Klice (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ryan Hunt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Klice comes into the arena with THE D.O.C. - it's funky enough blaring out of the sound system. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Ryan Hunt!
The judges for this bout are Dirk Anderson, David Hoff and Peter Branson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Klice swings for the body but Hunt moves out of range.
A swing and a miss from Hunt.
Klice tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Hunt defends well and Klice ends up having to push Hunt into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Klice misses with a body punch
and Hunt cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
It looks like Simbo Klice has been cut.
Klice loads up on a big right hand but Hunt slips the punch.

Klice blocks a jab.
Klice tries to clinch but Hunt is having none of it.
Hunt throws a sloppy body shot
and Klice counters with a shoot takedown. Hunt fights it but they end up in guard.
Klice wants to control from the top but Hunt keeps moving.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Hunt can do anything to dispel that myth.
Klice postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

Klice is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Klice is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Hunt is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Hunt has escaped and now he's on top!

Klice had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Hunt defends it easily.
Hunt is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Klice bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Hunt's guard.

Klice stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Hunt swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Klice is looking to work some ground and pound but Hunt has wrist control.

Hunt swings for the body but Klice moves out of range.
Hunt throws out a loose jab but Klice uses good head movement to avoid it.
Hunt has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight.
Klice tries for a takedown but Hunt sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Hunt appears to be waiting to throw a counter punch to the body.
Ryan Hunt seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Klice is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Hunt throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Klice fails with a takedown attempt from distance.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Klice, as that shot connected.
Hunt smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Hunt digs a good hook to Klice's body.
Klice on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.

Hunt cracks Klice with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Klice looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Hunt finish him?
Klice is rocked!
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Hunt dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Hunt circles and sees the opportunity to plant his feet and throw a really nice straight left hand that drops Klice to the canvas! Klice doesn't know where he is but he's trying to survive - Hunt keeps piling on the pressure and forces the referee to step in! This one is aaaaaall over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:19 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Ryan Hunt!
Ryan Hunt tried to hype himself up post fight but didn't word it too well and it ended up with him sounding like a bit of a tool.
