Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 4 - 0, fighting out of London, Brandon Hewitt! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Anthony Underwood! The judges for this bout are William Gold, James Atkins and Andrew Berry.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Underwood tries a head kick but it misses.
Nice uppercut lands for Hewitt. That snapped Underwood's head back.
Hewitt could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Underwood lands a head kick!
It looks like Brandon Hewitt has been cut. Underwood shoots in for a double leg but Hewitt sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Sloppy strikes from Hewitt. Those never looked like landing. Underwood misses with an attempted mid kick.
The fight moves into the clinch position. Hewitt wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Hewitt breaks from the clinch.

Underwood tries to work over Hewitt's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target. Hewitt is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage. Hewitt breaks the clinch.

Underwood pushes off an throws an elbow but Hewitt leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage. Underwood controlling the action here for a moment.

Underwood putting his Muay Thai to good use. He has Hewitt in a tight clinch and is doing some damage with knees to the body. Hewitt is breathing heavily. Underwood scores with a shoulder strike. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Underwood escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Underwood's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Hewitt gets tackled into the cage by Underwood. Underwood maintains the clinch. Hewitt looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now. Hewitt holding his opponent close, against the cage.

Underwood lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage. Hewitt stalling here - the referee won't stand for too much of that.
Underwood comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush. Underwood prevents Hewitt from breaking the clinch. Underwood gets control of Hewitt's arms and successfully pulls guard. Underwood will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Hewitt wants to work for an arm triangle but Underwood is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Hewitt is looking for a kimura but Underwood is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Hewitt to get the leverage. Underwood wants to get back to his feet. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's going to take a lot out of Anthony Underwood. Underwood fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Hewitt on the side of the head. Underwood changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Hewitt tries to avoid it but Underwood manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Hewitt to the ground. Hewitt escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Hewitt looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Underwood is looking to get back to is feet but Hewitt passes into side control.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Underwood really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Hewitt. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Underwood tries to slip a leg under to move to half guard but Hewitt presses down on the leg and jumps into full mount! Hewitt raining down shots from the mount! Underwood is bucking up trying to escape but Hewitt cracks him with another couple of good strikes. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Hewitt is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Underwood can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Underwood is looking to improve his position but Hewitt isn't that keen on the idea. Underwood takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position. Hewitt landing strikes, looking to finish! Hewitt goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Underwood turns into him and now he's in Hewitt's guard.
Anthony Underwood is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. Underwood has been taking part in the yoga sessions down at Tycoon Gym. Presumably he's going to look for a slick submission... Or maybe he's looking to avoid one.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Hewitt has his feet on Underwood's thighs here. He's pushed Underwood off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Underwood screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!
