Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gerra tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Carter swivels and escapes.
Carter fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Gerra.
Carter throws a shot from downtown. Gerra moves away and avoids it.
Gerra will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Gerra shoots in and drives through. Carter sprawls well.
Gerra changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Carter tries to avoid it but Gerra manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Carter to the ground. Carter escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Gerra turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Gerra manages to end up in side control.

Well Carter has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
