Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Shimada, Kenichi Hosakawa and Yasuomi Hirokawa.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tante misses with a takedown attempt - Owa sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Tante avoids the head kick by Owa.
Tante closes this distance looking for a takedown but Owa circles away.
Tante throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Owa's waist but Owa gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Tante off to one side.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Lori Tante. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Tante will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Owa has Tante up against the ropes in a clinch.
Owa tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.

Tante is working an open guard so Owa takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
Owa tries a head kick but it misses.
Owa pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Owa drops Tante with a naaaaasty hook - Tante is in real trouble here! Owa dives in to side control and pounds out his opponent for a TKO victory! The crowd goes nuts!
