Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Maui Wowie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Michael Cole (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Wowie's entrance music is Dont bogart that joint. A fine choice. Cole is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by I Won't Back Down. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
6 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Maui Wowie! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Michael Cole! The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Stewart Dunkirk and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Cole punishes Wowie's body with a nice straight punch. Wowie looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Wowie takes a swing at Cole's ribcage but misses. Wowie bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Cole's head backwards. A jab from Wowie finds it's way through Cole's defenses. Wowie throws a jab but it's blocked by Cole. Cole moves away from the strike by Wowie. Cole is trying to avoid his opponent's strikes and get into the clinch. A big left from Wowie misses. And Cole tries to counter it with a takedown but Wowie pushes his down on his head and steps out. Wowie fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Cole manages to avoid it. Cole keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.

Cole steps in looking to clinch after the strikes miss from Wowie. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Cole feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Wowie wants to stand up but Cole is controlling him. Wowie kicks Cole off and gets to his feet.
That's one minute gone in the round. Wowie misses with a double jab.
Wowie throws a combination that misses and Cole counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Wowie! The referee asks Cole politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Cole prefers to stall for the moment though. Cole prevents Wowie from escaping the position. Cole in side control, throwing shots but Wowie defends. Cole throws a strike aimed at the side of Wowie's head but Wowie avoids it well. The referee tells the fighters to keep busy. Cole has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Wowie avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Cole. Cole is looking to take a break and control but Wowie is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Cole controls the position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Cole misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.
Cole is looking to take a break and control but Wowie is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Wowie tries to escape but Cole is in control. Cole staying calm. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. Wowie tries to escape but Cole is in control.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Wowie misses with a hook to the body
and Cole counters with a takedown into side control. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Cole sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Wowie is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Cole tries to score with some ground and pound. Wowie controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage. Wowie is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Cole is controlling him well. Wowie avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Cole. Wowie trying to remain calm as Cole controls from the top position. Wowie is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Cole has just dragged him back down to the mat. Cole tries to advance to mount but Wowie denies him. Wowie is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here. Wowie is looking to get back to his feet here but Cole is keeping cool and he's managed to take Wowie's back.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. What can Wowie do to escape this position? He's going to have to figure it out pretty quick if he wants to stay in the fight!
Wowie is trying to get back to his feet but he's not managed it yet. Cole misses with punches from the back. Cole throwing lazy shots from the back mount that aren't doing any damage. Cole struggling to land strikes to the head as Wowie covers up. Cole is looking cool and calm here, just waiting for a good opportunity to attack and finish the fight from this dominant position.
Wowie is trying to get back to his feet but he's not managed it yet. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Michael Cole will probably get the nod. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Cole clinches up against the cage. Wowie working hard to break the clinch. Wowie has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate. Wowie tries to circle away but Cole has him pinned against the cage. Cole misses with the head strike.
Cole lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Wowie or not. A bit of stalling here from Cole.
Wowie is looking to break free of the clinch but Cole has double underhooks. Cole works for underhooks and lands a body shot in the process.
Cole keeps control of Wowie as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Cole misses with a shot to the kidneys.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Cole creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Cole avoiding damage.
Cole lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage. Wowie is trying to force a seperation but Cole has the dominant position. Cole makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut. Wowie is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.
That's one minute gone in the round. An uppercut to the body lands inside from Cole. Cole lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Wowie backwards. Cole softening up his opponent with strikes, against the cage. Cole leaning against his opponent.
Cole tries a body shot but Wowie blocks it.
Wowie looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now. Cole misses with a punch to the body.
Wowie wants to get back to striking at distance but Cole won't allow it.
Cole lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards. Wowie breaks from the clinch.
Cole slips a straight right by Wowie. Cole steps in looking to clinch after the strikes miss from Wowie. Maui Wowie is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Sloppy strikes from Wowie. Those never looked like landing. Cole takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it. Wowie fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Cole manages to avoid it. Wowie cracks a nice hook into Cole's ribs. Wowie misses with a combination

That's two minutes gone in the round. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Cole prevents Wowie from getting back to his feet. Cole not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. Wowie preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Cole forces his way into half guard. Cole is controlling the pace.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Cole has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Cole is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound. Cole is figuring out what he wants to do next.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Cole stops Wowie from getting back to his feet.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet. Cole is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Wowie tries to bum rush Cole with a series of wild strikes but Cole uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Cole has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Wowie finds it's way round the side to connect with Cole's head. Wowie misses the shot to the body. Nice jab there from Wowie. Wowie misses with a jab, cross combination.
Wowie throws a hook to the side of Cole's head but Cole sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Cole is trying to avoid his opponent's strikes and get into the clinch. Wowie throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Cole sees it coming and avoids it easily. Wowie scores with a hook. Cole takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

and Cole holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. Wowie has had enough of the clinch but Cole keeps him there for the moment. Wowie's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button! Michael Cole seems to be working more effectively in the clinch in the fight so far. Cole struggles to land a body shot inside as Wowie controls his hands.

Cole stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body. A short right from Cole on the inside. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Nice body punch from Cole - that landed with a thud.

Cole pushes Wowie back against the cage and unloads with a body punch. A left hand lands to the body for Cole.

Wowie is rocked! Cole works for underhooks and lands a body shot in the process.
Oh Wowie is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Cole lands with a short shot to the head. Some stalling of biblical proportions here from Cole. Cole has Wowie pushed against the cage. Cole receives a warning from the referee for stalling. Nice body punch from Cole - that landed with a thud.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Cole lands with a short head shot on the inside. Cole creates a bit of space for himself and rocks Wowie with a big uppercut! Wowie tries to clinch up but Cole pushes him back against the cage and lands another monster strike that crumples Wowie to the mat! Wowie covers up and Cole unloads with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:11 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Michael Cole! Michael Cole gave a mention to Sun-Tzu in his post fight interview. That will please them (and hopefully generate some sales). The defeated Maui Wowie had this to say: 'Pass the Bong'.
