Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Shinya Haoki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Akira Inoki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Shinya Haoki looks tired to me. Hopefully he has got enough gas left in the tank to put in a good performance.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Shinya Haoki!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Akira Inoki!
The judges for this bout are Yuuki Gou, Tatsuya Matsuyama and Ren Mimura.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Inoki swats away the attempt to clinch by Haoki.
Haoki looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
Haoki misses with the combination.
Inoki gets a takedown into half guard.
Inoki is figuring out what he wants to do next.
Inoki winds up and cracks Haoki with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
It looks like Shinya Haoki has been cut.
Inoki is nestled in close to Haoki, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
Haoki is refusing to be controlled, as Inoki sits in half guard.
Inoki takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
Haoki is rocked!
Inoki seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
Oh Haoki is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Inoki is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.
Shinya Haoki's cut is getting worse.
Inoki really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Haoki. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Inoki winds up and cracks Haoki with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Inoki looks to score some points with some ground and pound.

Haoki is trying to control but can't.
Haoki is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Haoki is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.

Still in half guard, Inoki seems content to control.
Inoki looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Haoki with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Shinya Haoki's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Akira Inoki!
