The judges for this bout are Ryoma Takatsuka, Chris Saunders and Colin Fray.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Xiii gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Evans tries to work over Xiii's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Evans takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.

Xiii has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Evans after a bit of a struggle.

Xiii manages to get his head free but now Evans has transitioned to an armbar! Xiii grimaces and is forced to tap! Beautiful Jiu Jitsu from Evans! I'd be surprised if that didn't end up as submission of the night!
