Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 15 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Martti Molski!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 17 - 13 - 1, fighting out of Amsterdam, Chris Severn!
The judges for this bout are James Ackerman, William Gold and Colin Fotheringham.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Severn lands a big head kick that sends Molski tumbling to the mat! Severn takes a step backwards and waves Molski back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Molski looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
A swing and a miss from Molski.
Severn throws a body punch but Molski moves out of range.
Molski swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Severn.
Molski moves out of range of the strikes.
Molski tries to land a front kick but Severn steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Martti Molski seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Severn throws a body punch but Molski moves out of range.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Molski misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Severn circles away from the clinch attempt.
Severn tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.
Molski avoids the head kick by Severn.
Molski lands a leg kick that knocks Severn off balance momentarily.
Molski displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Severn.
A big left from Molski misses.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Molski lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.


It looks like Chris Severn has been cut.
Molski keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Severn tests Molski's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Molski lands a really nice looking cross but Severn seems unphased.
Severn chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Molski can pounce on him.
Severn shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Molski as he avoids it easily.

Severn is looking to chop away at Molski's legs.
Molski listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut.
Molski pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Severn bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Molski's head backwards.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Severn moves out of range as Molski strikes.
Molski takes a swing at Severn's ribcage but misses.
Molski is looking to chop away at Severn's legs.
Molski misses with a body shot
and Severn makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Severn has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight.
Molski misses with an uppercut. Severn saw that one coming.
Severn only half commits to the counter leg kick.
Molski misses the shot to the body.
Molski shoots and misses
and Severn counters with a slapping leg kick.
Molski steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Severn.
Molski misses with a right hand
and Severn counters with a straight right hand.
Severn throws a solid leg kick but Molski takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Severn.
Severn connects with a leg kick. Molski looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Molski fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Severn manages to avoid it.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
A looping hook to the body misses from Molski. Severn does a little dance to reset his feet.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Severn! But no joy.
The crowd cheers as Severn lands an impressive looking overhand right. Molski doesn't seem phased though.
Severn misses with a body kick.
Molski tries to clinch but Severn moves out of range.
Molski misses with a low kick as Severn jumps back.
Molski connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.

Severn feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Molski sprawling to the canvas! Molski rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Severn finish him?!


Molski is rocked!
Molski scores with a jab to the jaw.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Donk. Molski catches Severn right on the button with a cross.
Molski rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Severn makes the exchange count by landing a cracking kick to the body. Molski really felt that one!
Severn cracks Molski with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Molski tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Severn pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Molski is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Chris Severn!
