The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Robinson throws a right and a left that Nikolaev avoids nicely.
Robinson looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
A slow jab from Robinson misses its intended target.
Robinson lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Nikolaev steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Robinson.
Nikolaev throws a lazy right hand but Robinson sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Robinson shoots in for a takedown but Nikolaev shows good takedown defense.
Nikolaev throws an overhand right that lands on Robinson's shoulder, as Robinson tries to avoid the shot.
Robinson misses with an uppercut. Nikolaev saw that one coming.
A left lands for Nikolaev.

A little feinted left hand from Robinson on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.

Robinson has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Robinson there as he acknowledges the shot.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Robinson got a little sloppy there for a moment and Nikolaev has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Robinson has managed to get both his arms back between Nikolaev's legs - danger averted.

Robinson looks up at the clock and then as Nikolaev takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Robinson smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!

Nikolaev seems to have recovered his senses.
Robinson works Nikolaev's body with a nice hook.
Nikolaev's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Robinson connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Nikolaev scrambles back to his feet.

Robinson plants his feet and throws a 3 punch combo. Miss, miss, boom! The third punch, a big right hook, connects right on the temple and drops Nikolaev to the mat, unconscious! This fight is all over! Nikolaev just couldn't keep out of the way of the whole flurry of punches!
