Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Mick Shaw (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ronald Ringwald (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Shaw comes to the cage accompanied by Silver Bullet - Bring Forth The Guillotine. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Mick Shaw! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
7 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ronald Ringwald! The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Cecil Peabody and Frank Dennis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ringwald tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Shaw manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Shaw ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Ringwald moves away. Ringwald displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination. Shaw has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Netherlands Top Team & KT in the buildup to the fight. Shaw takes a body punch but keeps moving. Shaw avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Shaw dives in and scores a takedown into Ringwald's guard. Ringwald is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Shaw defends well. Ringwald has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Shaw can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Shaw pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Ringwald is keeping the position for now. Shaw stands and throws Ringwald's legs to the side, diving into side control. Ringwald is not in a great position here, taking some shots. This has been an exciting period of action! The strikes coming from Shaw are missing the target in this wave of attacks. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's one minute gone in the round. Shaw creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots. Shaw working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Shaw controlling the position from side mount. Shaw cracks Ringwald with an elbow. That is naaassty. Ringwald struggling a bit here. Shaw looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. You can see the frustration on Ringwald's face as Shaw controls the position. Shaw thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Shaw tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Ringwald managing to avoid any damage from the strikes thrown by Shaw.
Ringwald is looking to reverse the position. Shaw working the head with strikes. Shaw lands a nice forearm strike. Shaw is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Ringwald knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Ringwald is looking for a sweep. Ringwald manages to get back to half guard. Shaw has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Shaw looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Ringwald keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Ringwald slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Shaw trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Ringwald keeping moving, preventing Shaw from controlling successfully. Shaw advances position into side control! Ringwald struggling a bit here. Shaw tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
That's four minutes gone in the round. An elbow from Shaw crashes against the mat.
The strikes coming from Shaw are missing the target in this wave of attacks. Shaw is looking to take a break and control but Ringwald is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Shaw misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.
Ringwald can't do much from the bottom here. Shaw misses with the ground and pound. The referee asks Shaw politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Shaw prefers to stall for the moment though. Shaw working the body and head with strikes. Shaw landing with strikes to the head and body from side control. The ground and pound from Shaw seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Mick Shaw dominated that round. That's time! Shaw's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Ringwald tries to clinch but Shaw moves out of range. Shaw ducks under a wild hook from Ringwald. Shaw scores with a leg kick.
Ringwald throws a shot from downtown. Shaw moves away and avoids it. Shaw slips under a jab from Ringwald. Shaw scores with a jab to the head.
It looks like Ronald Ringwald has been cut. Ringwald throws a series of punches but Shaw avoids them all with ease. Shaw lands with a slapping head kick. Shaw is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Ringwald can do to turn this around? Ringwald tests Shaw's chin there with a solid looking shot. Shaw slips a jab from Ringwald. Shaw takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Ringwald throws a hook but Shaw blocks it. Shaw swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect. Shaw lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! A slow jab from Ringwald misses its intended target. Shaw throws a series of punches but Ringwald moves out of range. Shaw thuds a left hand into Ringwald's body. Shaw has taken the fight to the clinch.
Shaw lands with a right to the head. Ringwald is trying to pull guard but Shaw turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.
That's one minute gone in the round. Shaw lands a left hand.
Ringwald is trying to break the clinch but Shaw is controlling him. A head punch on the inside from Ringwald fails to land. A body shot lands from Shaw.
Ringwald is breathing heavily. Shaw lands a right hand. Ringwald takes a shot to the head. A shot in the inside from Shaw.
Ringwald is rocked! Shaw lands with a left to the head. Ringwald is still on wobbly legs! Can Shaw finish him? Shaw lands with a short head shot on the inside. A right hook to the body lands for Shaw.
Shaw breaks the clinch.
Shaw grits his teeth and throws a big right-left combo! Ringwald takes both shots clean on the chin and is out cold! Shaw cracks him once more on his way down, as the crowd goes wild! They enjoyed that one!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:38 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Mick Shaw! After winning the bout, Mick Shaw thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
