The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bolton tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Badger darts in and clinches Bolton up against the cage. Badger has clasped his hands together around Bolton's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done. A lull in the action here. Bolton tries to improve position but can't. Badger has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand. Badger scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Bolton wants to control but Badger is keeping busy and won't allow it. Bolton is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Badger is figuring out what he wants to do next. Badger takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists. Badger works his way into side control. Bolton is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Badger has just dragged him back down to the mat. Bolton is looking for a sweep. A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet. Bolton wants to get back to his feet but Badger drags him back down. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Badger thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Badger has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Bolton tries to buck Badger off but Badger is having none of it. Badger slows the pace down. Bolton wants to get back to his feet but Badger is dominant here and he's now got Bolton's back!

The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Badger is dominating on the ground here - he's now on his opponent's back, looking to sink in the hooks. Bolton is in real trouble.
Wilmer Bolton has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Alan Badger is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. Bolton is being controlled on the ground here - he must escape this position otherwise surely the end is near.
And that's the end of the fight! Alan Badger comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Badger has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today.
