Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, Phil Schofield and James Atkins.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jackson looks to throw the jab but McQuade is out of range.
McQuade tries to clinch there but Jackson circles away.
McQuade scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Jackson takes a swing at McQuade's ribcage but misses.
Jackson misses with a wild body shot.
Jackson throws a jab when McQuade was well out of range.
McQuade drops down looking for a counter takedown but Jackson sprawls and moves away.

McQuade tries to close the distance and clinch but Jackson swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
McQuade throws a head kick but Jackson moves out of range.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Jackson looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Jackson takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.

McQuade wants to get back to his feet.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
McQuade is looking to control Jackson's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can McQuade avoid being mounted?

McQuade is rocked!
Jackson lands a big elbow from half guard. That looks like it's hurt McQuade quite badly. McQuade pulls Jackson in close trying to recover. Jackson postures up and lands two really hard shots that put McQuade on queer street! The ref takes a look and decides to call an end to the fight! Possibly an early stoppage but McQuade doesn't seem to be complaining too much.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:46 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Oshan Jackson!
