Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Nick Dick (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Demetrious Maxuimus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Maxuimus misses with a jab to the body

and Dick counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Maxuimus avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Dick postures up in Maxuimus's guard and throws a big left but Maxuimus blocks it.
Dick is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound.
Dick throwing strikes but missing.
Maxuimus really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Dick. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Dick with a flurry of punches that miss.
Maxuimus is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Dick with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.

Dick thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Dick lands a couple of digs.
Dick sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Maxuimus's guard.
Dick lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.

Dick works his foot free and advances to mount.

Dick swings around for an armbar and he's got it! Wow, that came out of nowhere! What a finish!
