Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jonas Phelps (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Andreas Dries (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Andreas Dries looks lathargic as he enters the arena. Wake up son, you're about to have a fight!

The judges for this bout are Wagner Zegers, Patrick Alders and Albert Achterberg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dries throws a sloppy head kick and Phelps moves out of range easily.
Dries throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Phelps tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Dries is in Phelps's guard.
Phelps pushes Dries off and scrambles back to his feet.
Dries fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Phelps sprawls well initially but Dries persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Phelps is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Dries's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Dries's back!
Dries is trying to remain composed but Phelps is hammering down strikes to the side of his head.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Phelps connects with a nice short shot to Dries's temple.

Dries must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Phelps throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Dries.
A nice side step and Dries releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home.

Dries tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Phelps avoids it.
Phelps is trying to trip Dries. He has hold of a leg but Dries is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Phelps persists though and gets the takedown into guard.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Jonas Phelps.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Phelps, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
